At Fell Foot Farm, we occupy what is one of the most stunning settings in the Lake District - at the head of the Little Langdale Valley surrounded by the spectacular skyline of the Langdale Pikes. Opportunities for walking and biking are outstanding.

Our Lakeland location is quiet and secluded but far from remote or isolated, the Three Shires Inn lies 1.1 miles down the road at Little Langdale, Elterwater, just 3 miles away, has a village shop, popular inn and post office, while Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District is only a scenic 15-minute drive. The quiet lane that passes the farm leads over the awe-inspiring Wrynose and Hardknott passes to the historic village of Boot and verdant Eskdale Valley.

We are a haven for walkers, cyclists and country lovers, drawing visitors all year round for the freedom of the fells in spring, summer’s long light days, perfect for those longer routes, autumn’s fantastic blaze of colours and winter’s snow capped peaks.
